I did the same thing at a large electronics store (national chain), I
just wanted their service department to just formate the drive (without
the system installed), the clerk just told me to go somewhere else?
Won't go back to that Circus City store. I had even told him, i was not
wanting anything off the price, just that I didn't want MS.

Go figure.
