Getty problem

I am trying to have uugetty to initialise my modem. Straight forward this
is no problem. However I want uugetty to send the modem the string 'at%c0'.
I can't find a way to escape the '%' karakter. All king of funny behaviour
is the result.

Has anyone any experience with sendeing '%' strings via uugetty to a modem.

Any help is appreciated.
