No, but I was able to skip forward, using the menu mode, and actually
format the partitions assigned. However, all other steps fail because the
files that were to be copied in Finish installation step aren't there (I
suppose that why those steps fail).

If I restart the installation, when I get to Disk Druid the new
partitions are there, but no mount points attached to them. If I assign
the mount points and proceed I still get the same error.

What I really would like to know is what causes the error dialog. Is it
not reading the CD? Is it not writing to the drive? Or is it not reading
something that was supposed to be copied to the disk.

On the chance that it was a Bad CD I exchanged the disk set from another
copy, but I still get the same error.
