I think this is not allowed for some reason. I certainly have never
tried to do so. Why do you want usernames like that anyway?
Oh, I remember. I think sendmail (or is it the SMTP RFC?) says
that ##username is a no-no. That's a vague recollection, so don't
quote me on it, but I remember seeing something about it.
