No, you're confused. (Why you would think an old product like RH 5.0 would
natively support that card when Windows 98 doesn't is beyond me.) Use the
latest SVGA server. There is no accelerated server for that card.
Download the rpm updates from a RedHat mirror like
ftp://ftp.cdrom/pub/linux/redhat/redhat-5.0/updates/i386/.
Grab the necessary rpms from there.
Install them using rpm -Uvh and Run XF86Config again. (Don't both using
Xconfigurator)
It does work. If you're still confused, just use the VGA16 driver. Yeah,
you'll only have 16 colors. But, you'll still have X! :^P
This does help.
