Hi, this is my first posting to this list, I just signed up today and I
still know minimal info about Linux, I'm just learning as I go along, but
I tried installing 5.2 on my desktop, it's an old IBM PS/2 486. All went
well until it asked me for what type of ethernet card I have, a Linksys
PnP Ether16 LAN card. I told it NE2000 and compatible(that's what a
friend used for his system with the same card and it worked). I tried
autoprobe and setting the irq and io myself but nothing worked. I
couldn't figure out a way to get past this option, either with the card
working, or not... I even tried going back to windows and I can't get it
to install anymore... Any suggestions? Thanks, Dallas
