Mask Linux to appear as an NT workstation

Ladies & Gentlemen,
  I'm going to be trying to put a Linux
workstation on our Intranet which exclusively has
NT servers.  Is there anyway to make a Linux
workstation appear to be an NT workstation or
Windows 95/98 workstation to the NT Servers?
  If this is possible, it would really help make a
point to our decision makers at our institution.
