switchdesk installation

I upgraded (as opposed to clean install) to RH 6.0 from 5.2. Kde 1.1.1 and
WindowMaker were already installed in my. After the upgrade, 'switchdesk'
was only able to recognize 'Gnome' and 'Another Level'. I could not fins
any documentation for 'switchdesk'. Can anyone tell me a) how to get
'switchdesk' to recognize other environments (Kde, WindowMaker, etc.)' b)
where the switchdesk configuration file is located (if there is one), and
c) where switchdesk is documented?
