RH 6.0 Install error... Help!

Hello,
I was in the process of installing on an intel 586, after selecting what
packages I wanted and clicking done it started formating the partitions and
then I received an error message "mount failed: invalid paramater".I do
currently have a 2.5 gig windows 98 partition with 3.5 gig free.
