Seriously though, the time people spend making changes to old systems
(including me - I run an old 486/100 system as a mail server. It does
have 48Mb but I have never installed in less than 16Mb and this is the one
that I have had trouble upgrading to RH5.2) is not well spent I think,
although if they are running leave them alone. Even here in the pricey UK
I have recently upgraded to AMD350s for only a few hundred UKP.
So a hunt round the computer market for a few 16Mb sticks is what you
need, I suspect. Your memory is probably standard rather than EDO, which
will create a problem since you can't get it any longer.
Presumably you have free local phone calls where you are!
