No keyboard after RH6 install

Hi,

I have tried to install RH6 (and also Mandrake 6) on my Toshiba 4030. The
installation seems to run flawlessly. However, when I boot one the
following occurs:

. At some point, during system initialization, a series of ~^[[23 appears
on the the screen and, finally, initialization stops or
. I get the login banner but I cann't key in anything (even Ctl-Alt-Del)
is inefficient.

In both cases, I have to switch power off.

I can add that (1) RH5.1/2 were ok, (2) once, I have been able to read a
message saying (approximatively) "Too many NACK ... keyboard ..." during
initialization , and (3) before initialization is complete, in those cases
where it proceeds until the login banner, Ctl-Alt-Del works ok : it seems
that something is going wrong during the very last stages of
initialization.
