PacBell's DSL works great with Linux.

I've got a box running Redhat 6 running ipchains without a hitch.

Make sure that you check the basics (correct driver for network card, IP address, netmask, correct default gateway, etc), that's what I messed up when setting up my Linux box.

Does anyone have a DSL line running on linux? Pacbell does not support
linux for their DSL lines but say installations have been made without
problems. I am running Red Hat 5.2 and have not been able to get connected.
The ethernet card (installed by Pacbell) appears to be configured correctly
and the eth0 interface is running. The incoming line was tested ok by
Pacbell with a laptop. I sure would appreciate help in getting this
working.
