Hi,
my problem looks similar: I just installed RH6.0 and tried
to nfs mount form Sun Solaris 5.6. On the Sun I get the
message:
# mount sbibtest:/db /mnt
nfs mount: sbibtest: NFS service not responding
nfs mount: retrying: /mnt
... and the process hangs (forever?).
Looking to /var/log/messages on the linux box shows:
Jul 29 14:30:50 sbibtest mountd[1692]: authenticated mount request from
rme11:75
1
Jul 29 14:30:50 sbibtest kernel: svc: unknown version (3)
What can I do, any ideas?
Thanks
Adson
