Re: Videocard onboard

Hi Carlos,

XFree86 3.3.3 contains support for the SiS 6326 chip set: although they do confess that they only tested it on a couple of boards.

                 Best Regards

Subject: Videocard onboard

Hello everyone!
Somebody on this mailing list know the correct emulation for 8MB onboard videocard identified by Windows Hardware Manager as <SIS 6326 AGP>? The mainboard where this videocard resides <PC 100, unnoficially made by Alton> have not name, is made in Taiwan and the manual have not the company name or adress or e-mail. I'm needing the correct emulation to start the server with XF86Config setup on XFree86 for Red Hat Linux 5.2. I tryed setup this card as a Matrox AGP and have not success. Also as generic videocard have not success. The videocards database have abobe 400 options!!! And any is SIS 6326 AGP. I just contacted an hardware mailing list and a member saids this name SIS 6326 AGP is the correct name of the videocard! I thank in advance any help!
