Hi listmembers,
I start my Linux 5.1 by Loadlin at Win95 DOS Command Prompt. I issued the command this way: "d:\Loadlin vmlinuz root=/dev/hda6 ro", where /dev/hda6 is my linux root. Everything seems OK except a continuous message "Wrote xxx/xxx Buffers" on the screen. Although the whole system works well, this message is quite annoied. It begins after the system fully started and login prompt displayed with an interval about 3 to 5 seconds. What sort of problem? How to fix it? Help and thanks.
