Thanks for the reply. I tried the install without my scanner attached,
and I still got the exact same errors. Besides, I had my scanner
attached when I installed 5.2, and it didn't cause problems then. This
is pretty frustrating. It's starting to look like I won't be able to
install RedHat 6.
