support for a Diamond Fireport40 SCSI controller

I read somewhere that there was a driver available for this controller, but
I don't see it on the HCL.  Does anyone know if there is a driver available?

Does diamond make enough information available for a driver to be written?
I know they used to be unwilling to GPL any of the API information for
their hardware....
