Thats interesting because I have had nothing but problems with redhat 6 and
its install program halting at various points and then complaining at the
LILO boot by stopping at LI. This is RedHat 6 specifically. It also fails
to write a ext2 file system on just any big drive I toss at it. What you
think of this?

I can name the systems that have failed at either writing a file system or
have had a premature end to installation of REdHat 6. Dell 610 workstation,
several Dell laptops, etc. On my system at home, with a 6 gig hard disk, it
fails to write a file system. On my Dell Inspiron it gets to wanting a
password in the install and then just silently gives up.

What do you suppose is going on with this, Chuck? I can install RH 5.2,
Caldera 2.2, Turbolinux, SuSE 6.x or 5.x. I just cannot install RH 6.
