I had that problem before. As a newbie... I just reinstall it... and, it

Well, GNOME required minimum 48 Mb RAM and P-166 Yes, You had too little
Memory and too slow Processor, maybe... :) I tried GNOME with 24 MB RAM and
P-120. I frustated me alot... I shutdown many services... it still comes
out with the same results. Now, I miss my AftesStep.
