RH6 Boot disk and X server install problems

I am having problem with RH 6.0 creation of the boot disk while installing. I
was able to format and write to the disk using RH 5.2 on the same machine. I
am using my own copy of RH 6 that I burned of an ISO image. Now until I figure
out the problem what other options do I have to boot my RH6 partition. Please
note that I don not want to use LILO since I have both WinNT and W98 on the
same box too. is loadlin an option?

also I am having problem with the X server setup. The system recognizes my VGA
card as a Trident 9660 while it is a 9680 and it also has my CTX monitor
listed there, but it still do es not work. Are there any work around.
