At least in KDE, Ctrl+Alt+Del doesn't do anything for me. I think KDE's
shutdown command is reboot (in /sbin/reboot I think). Would there
be any difference between that and shutdown -r now?

When viewing the directory listing of mounted vfat partitions, ls and
dir show dirrectories with spaces differently. Dir shows the right one
on my end.
