If SAMBA is working, then the Win boxes should see any printer
on the Linux/server box.  When you see the printer in the network neighborhood
folder, just double click on it and Windows will start the process of loading
the correct driver for the Winbox.  after that it is just select the printer and
print away.
Maybe I misunderstood your question.

At least that has been my experience.  I had an old HPII on the Linux box and
someone
came along and replaced it with a HP5000.  Nothing was changed on the Linux box
and the Win clients just installed new drivers.  Everything worked without a
hitch.
