Stop me if I'm wrong, but if the linux box is already running Samba and has
a printer connected and working, surely all you have to do tell Samba to
share the printer? (or for that matter share it automatically from the
[printers] block in smb.conf).

If you're not clear on how to do this I suggest seeing the various printing
related HOWTO's, the man page for smb.conf and (if your PC's can't
currently access the Samba server) the regular samba documentation.
(n.b. if your PC's use accounts with different username/passwords than the
Linux accounts and you haven't worked out re-mapping scheme for
file-sharing already, you may want to share the printer(s) explicitly so
you can take advantage of the "force user" setting).
