A basic question I can't seem to find any info on...
How do I stop and start a service without having to do a reboot of my
box?
Every time I change something in my smb.conf I kill the service then
type "smbd -D" but the services don't show as started anymore.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Ed.
PS: I use "top" to get a list of services, is there any other way to
get them all listed?
