Hi,
Thank you for your comments. I tried running mouseconfig by looking
for both serial and ps/2. But the result is the same.

try running mouseconfig.
by the way... just by looking at the end of ur mouse
does not tell you what kind of mouse it is. it could
be serial or ps/2 regardless of what interface it has.
try both in mouseconfig.
