allelujah- but have another Q now

Thanks to some tips from the list, Linux sees my ethernet card (not my sound
card or modem yet, but hey this is an iterative process).
Now I have what is hopefully an easy question. I want to run the command
dhcpcd -h <my computer name here>
The dhcpcd "file" is on the Redhat 6.0 cd (and nowhere on my hard drive). I
know how to access it and copy the file anywhere on my hard drive but what
do I do to "use" this command.
So- where do I copy this file to?
Then- how do I install this command so I can execute it?
Thanks in advance!
I'm sure it's obvious I'm new to this, but I'm learning fast- but assume I
know very little.
