Has anyone noticed that the Mach64 drivers for X seem to have a
bit of a flicker in them? At first I thought it might be my monitor, so
I switched monitors, still the flicker. Then I tried switching from
Gnome to KDE to Windowmaker. Still the same problem.
More specifically the odd white flicker exhibits itself when dragging
windows across the screen. I am using the Mach64 driver that came with
the RH6 distro, which is: XFree86-Mach64 3.3.3.1-49.
Just to make sure it wasn't the video card itself, I booted up
to Windows NT and tried to get it to flicker and it was fine.
Has anyone else encountered this, and if so is there a
workaround. It doesn't affect the functionality of my install, it's just
a wee bit annoying. Thanks!
