Re compile.

Hi Guys,

I installed red-hat 6.0 on my pc.  For some reason I have been unsuccessful
in running ppp to connect to internet.  I tried kppp, a
window popped up showing that the speaker was being initialized and it never
got connected for several minutes.

Can you help me. Can you also suggest if I have to recompile the kernel,
if so how and what options.
