........... You haven't mentioned what attempts, nor errors you have
been through. What commands are you using ? As root ? In X-windows ?
typing "control-panel" in an xterm window as root should bring up the
whole suite of tools. Or, just type "netcfg" under the same
circumstances will produce the Network Configuration tool.
