Re: modem FTP Installation of Linux



NO NO NO!!
The installation is in the order of hundreds of Magabytes.  Downloading
over a 56K modem is not wise.
I'd highly recommend cheapbytes:

for less than $10, you can have a CD at home to use for your installation.
