Hi all,
I'm attempting to install RH6.1 from my hard drive. I've made a /Redhat
directory on /hda10, which is my mount point for /home. I don't have
space to put it on root. I've also copied the RPMS directory and the
base directory, which has 3 files: comps, hdlist, and stage2.img.
The install fails when loading the second stage image. Is there a way to
check the integrity of the img file? Am I missing something in my setup.
And, BTW, I got these files from an .iso image that I burned onto a CD
- -RW which is being served via FTP (this particular CD drive doesn't seem
to recognize it) ... does someone have another format they'd recommend
(with the image file?).
Thanks,
