Hi All!
I have installed:
RedHat 6.0 on my computer att home.
I have a network card:
3Com 509 installed on my computer.
And this is connected to a ISDN- router (Cisco 775) that is fuctioning properly.
My problem is now that I can't connect to the network.
I'v configured the network with "netconf" and manualy and it does not work the problem
description:
When I do >netstat -r
i get:
Kernel IP routing table
Destination Gateway Genmask Flags MSS Window irtt I face
192.168.1.2 * 255.255.255.255 UH 0 0 0 eth0
192.168.1.0 * 255.255.255.0 U 0 0 0 eth0
127.0.0.0 * 255.0.0.0 U 0 0 0 lo
And here i hangs and dose not display the default gateway that supposed to be printed out here.
I'm forced to exit with CTRL-C.
I'v tried redefining the default gw with:
>route del default gw 192.168.1.1 eth0
>route add default gw 192.168.1.1 eth0
I'v also tried redefining the entired network but it still not work.
The problem remains.
Any suggestions anyone. I would be happy for anything.
