Most likely your mail agent has to be configured.
If you want to use Netscapes movemail you have to change the /var/spool/mail
dir to 01777 I believe, which imposes some security concerns.
Another thing to look for is address translations and relays in
/etc/sendmail.conf.
If that's to much you can use Donncha's install-sendmail script that does it
all for you in simple mail setups for a network.
