You are correct. 100% correct.
All they have asked is that you do not use the words "Red Hat" in your
marketing or package label. You still can sell all the CDs you want.
Suppose I invented a new dark brown carbonated soft drink. No problem.
Now lets say I put in a can and called it, in big letters "COKE clone".
I suspect I'd hear from the people who make "Coke" real quick.
I suspect Red Hat's concern is only with other people's use of the words
"Red Hat" in marketing and on product labels. As you say, the content is
all GPL. As an example look at what Mandrake did. Red Hat apparently has
no problem with them.
