Thanks, I will. I'm currently using Linux for Dummies. And it isn't for
dummies, a key step in setting up Linux partitions was ommitted, which
took me an a lot of time to figure out on my own.

Understood, however, I've been under the spell of Billy Gates for 8
years, and I'm desperately trying to break the chains that bind me to
him. 

I'm not used to seeing error message seven lines long, let alone a
command prompt after it! I'm used to trying new things, and screwing
them up. What I'm not used to is an OS that doesn't seem to care, it
takes a licking and keeps on ticking! 

This list provides a number of great services, and one that may not be
apparent, the deprograming of those of us who have been in the MS cult
for x number of years.

When I stated " I don't even know how to do that yet!" I wasn't whining,
it was a declaration of independence!
