HELP!!

and guess what the hot-breaking-heart-breaking news is?
You can no longer refer to Red Hat Linux GPL distribution using the words
Red Hat.
What does it mean "GPL"?
I have ordered from one shop the Official Red Hat Linux 6.0 (see about this
in http://www.redhat.com/commerce/). What is GPL?
I know that my question is a dumb one, but I am new to the world of Linux.
But one thing I know: I will not any more support Microsoft! I am tired of
everything what is called "Microsoft." Therefore, I decided to change the
operative system, so I think that Linux is best to use.
I wish to support Linux community. Please, what it means that Red Hat GPL
is no longer available, and WHY?
