Use loadlin...(but get your kernel image on your hard disk).
You'll may have to play around with your boot configuration (you
need enough space...any device drivers/tsr's may cause problems)
As an aside, after installing linux, the standard redhat methodology of
installing lilo has failed more times than I want to recall (on older
systems which dual boot). loadlin is such a painless was to boot...
I wrote an article in The Linux Journal in issue 21 (january 1996).
Seems like its still useful and relevant. (it deals with editing
config.sys and autoexec.bat on windoze)
