Getting Mandrake Login but Running RH6

Subject: Getting Mandrake Login but Running RH6

I installed Mandrake 6.0 on a machine.  Then I formatted all the partitions and installed RH6.
Whenever I telnet to the machine now it says it is a Mandrake machine.  What did I miss?

Note: During the RH6 install I told it to load boot from the first Linux partition, not from an
MBR...
