I know to most of you this thing I have done is so elemental it is
perhaps laughable, but after A LOT of head scratching and reading I
have finally been able to dual boot both of my machines using LILO!
I wanted Win95 to be default and the time waiting for it to start to
be short.
Using linux.conf was pretty hit and miss for me. What worked was
looking at some examples of /etc/lilo.conf and using emacs to edit
my file and mixing the lines to suit my needs and then learning to
do /sbin/lilo after saving the configuration file is a HUGE step
forward for me.
Now I have the confidence to try ppp. Ha !
