I try to install a TELES 16.3 ISDN card in my RedHat 6.0 Linux box.
I recompiled the kernel with HISAX support.
According to the documentation that comes with the kernel I need to give
an IO address and an IRQ in order to load the hisax modules.
But my card only has jumpers to set the IO address. When I try to load with
an arbitrary but free IRQ the modules failes with:
[root /root]# modprobe hisax type=3 protocol=2 io=0x180 irq=11
ISDN subsystem Rev: 1.86/1.72/1.88/1.49/none/1.2 loaded
Teles 16.3: IRQ(11) getting no interrupts during init 1
Teles 16.3: IRQ(11) getting no interrupts during init 2
Teles 16.3: IRQ(11) getting no interrupts during init 3
HiSax: Card Teles 16.3 not installed !
/lib/modules/2.2.12/misc/hisax.o: init_module: Device or resource busy
ISDN-subsystem unloaded
[root /root]#
Has anyone any suggestions how to go from here???
Regards, Koos.
