Hello:
I recently installed RH 6.0 to my laptop. I am on a
network - using it now with Win 98 - and I am trying to get on the network with
Linux. I have input all of the numbers that the sys admin gave me, but it
still won't come up. I keep getting error messages from Netscape that it
can't find the server and that maybe I need to go in and change $ something or
other if it uses a non-root name server (or something like that). I don't
think that that is the problem - could be, you tell me - because I had my system
up last week, put in the numbers, and it all worked. (had to reinstall for
something else . . .) My only other clue is that during bootup I see the
message "Bringing up eth0 . . . Delaying eth0 initialization. [FAILED]"
Any clues?
