Modem

Hi,

I have installed RED HAT LINUX 6.0 on my PC which has a PNP internal
modem.  I was trying to use minicom to dial up to ISP for internet access.
Somehow minicom shows as dialing while the modem is really not dialing
out.  

I have linked the /dev/modem to /dev/ttyS1.  The major for /dev/ttyS1 is
4 and minor is 65.

I really appreciate if you could let me how to go about installing modem so
that I could dial out or dial-in.
