Screen resolution (still)

Dear Gurus.rpm,

I hate to clutter the list up with this when I'm sure it's
been answered 1K times, but the archive search engine is
kaput, so here goes...

No, I can't.  Keypads don't work.  Changing 'Modes' or 'Screen' 
around doesn't seem to have any affect either.  I'm using xdm.
