This is an rpc error, and looks more like an NFS-related message; it may
have nothing to do with your samba problem.
What do you see in the samba logs? I think the default location of the
samba logfiles is /var/log or /var/log/samba in the redhat rpms, unless
you have changed it. I always compile my own samba, so am not really
sure..
