Even if you switch distros, buying a "made-for-Linux" machine
can avoid all kinds of unsupported-hardware issues.
I haven't seen any real deals on lower to mid-level systems,
but for mid to upper-end workstations or cheap servers,
ASLabs (http://www.aslabs.com/) has been quite impressive.
Of course, prices just went up sharply on many components,
especially memory (apparently due to the earthquake in Tiawan),
so this may not be the best time to buy anything.
