Hi everybody,
I want to setup a kickstart installation without use a floppy boot disk, I
want to
boot directly with the cdrom and put the kickstart configuration file on
the cdrom.
I do that with a floppy, I put the syslinux.cfg and ks.cfg on the floppy
and do the installation
from de cd and ot work fine.
When i want to do the same only with the cdrom, i try different ways to do
that but it never
work.The problem i think, is to locate the ks.cfg file. I create a boot.img
file from the original one
with a new syslinux.cfg. I replace the boot.img file in the /images of the
cdrom and finaly i put
the ks.cfg file on the root of the cdrom and it never works.
Is somebody have do that and can give me some information about that ?
Is there some documentation on that ?
I now that it work but how??
thanks
