screen on redhat 6.0

hello there could anyone help me

i have an asus supersocket main board, AMD 333 K6 2 processor, 32 MBRAM,
diamond speedstar graphics card(8 MB Mem) and a Goldstar 57 i studioworks
monitor.

the problem i am having with the install is the very last bit on the x
configuration, RH6 doesnt have my monitor listed i have tried custom and
generic monitor and other goldstar monitors but to no avail . my graphics
card is supported but all i get is a really bad screen where i cant see any
text just the windows and they are not to great either.

can anyone help or do i need to get Redhat 6.1
