OK guys, I was in a hurry and have a system that keeps crashing. I am
trying to get to the bottom of it. I only have about 5 thousand people that
rely on it for
Document Management purposes. Maybe I should rebuild my Solaris Machine,
It never crashed once in a year. Im sorry I may have to agree with the
(Peanut Gallery) LINUX may not be stable enough for a production
enviroment.. No errors in the messages file nothing just a dead box. I have
to recycle power to reboot. about 3 times daily.. I have currently in the
machine 1/2 gig memory. LINUX sucks up almost all of it ,about 400kb most
of the time. I understand from the people that really want to help out
that that is normal OK I agree. But why, what's crashing this machine..
Apparently its is not a memory problem. Can anyone guide me through that
one. Thanks all for the great help.
