(offtopic) font support

I've been working on getting my home systems migrated away from Microsoft,
but I'm having some challenges with this.

Specifically, my wife is comfortable with using linux instead of Windows,
but is frustrated by the lack of font support and clip art available.  I
strongly oppose MS, but I must admit that they've made it very easy to add
fonts and clip art to documents.

So, the reason for this post is this:
What recommendations can anyone make about:
fonts in Netscape (web pages that only render properly on Windows) or,
fonts/clipart in StarOffice?
