SiS530 (x$#!@X*&$#@!) and FTP

God, I hate it that I'm always having to ask dumbass questions
to do the simplest things. I found a site that explains how to
get and set up an RPMed driver for the SiS530 (*&$^# *!!*) chipset,
but when I tried FTPing to the site where the driver actually
resides I was asked for my name and then a password. Well, since
it's been a couple of years since I've FTPed anything, and since
I've never been to that site, I haven't the foggiest notion of what
I'm supposed to type in, although I have a vague memory of there
being some standard thing that you do at a free FTP site. Can
anyone please tell me what it is. It's been over _two_ months since
I got my new computer and loaded RH 6.0 on it, and I would STILL
like to get my &**%&^&*$ $ graphics set up.
TIA,
Dale Huckeby
